LETTER AT LAST · PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026

Letter at Last is operated by Kaan Demirel. This policy explains the information processed when you use the game and the choices available to you.

Information stored on your device

Single-player statistics, badges, appearance, language, sound, music, haptic, advertising-consent state, and related preferences may be stored locally. Authentication credentials are stored using the iOS Keychain where available.

Online and private races

Multiplayer processes a service-generated account identifier, display name, per-language ratings and statistics, matchmaking preferences, scores, accepted submitted words, word-chain context, move timing, match status, and temporary connection-heartbeat timestamps. Private races use the same gameplay information to run the race. Rejected submissions and keyboard input are not stored.

Sign in with Apple

Single Player does not require an account. Multiplayer requires Sign in with Apple so your player profile and rating remain associated with the same Apple-backed account across your devices. Apple provides an app-specific identifier and only the account information you authorize Apple to share.

Advertising and consent

Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform may process advertising identifiers, device or network information, approximate location, ad interactions, consent signals, and diagnostics depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and available ad-serving mode. Letter at Last requests ads only when the consent platform reports that requests are permitted.

See Google's privacy policy for Google's processing practices.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database, matchmaking, and realtime infrastructure. Google provides advertising and consent services. Apple may process App Store, Sign in with Apple, and device-platform information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Why information is processed

Information is processed to provide the game, maintain accounts and ratings, prevent abuse, secure and troubleshoot the service, comply with legal obligations, and serve advertising. Where required, personalized advertising and related storage rely on consent.

Retention

Queue entries are temporary. Online profiles, match records, and accepted move history are retained while needed to operate ratings, improve dictionaries, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Deleting the app removes local data but may not delete online records.

Your choices and account deletion

You can change game preferences in Settings. Where required, Ad privacy choices lets you review or update advertising consent. Device-level permissions and tracking choices can also be changed in iOS Settings.

If you have a multiplayer account, use Settings → Delete account in the app. This removes the account and associated online records. If you cannot access the app, contact us and we will help with the request.

Security and children

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.

The game is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum digital-consent age in their country without required authorization. Contact us if you believe a child's information should be reviewed or removed.

Updates and contact

This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
